Our Impact
Casework: Practical Help When It’s Needed Most
Casework remains one of the main reasons people turn to us for help. The rising cost of living, ongoing mental health challenges and limited access to healthcare and housing continue to affect many local residents.
In the past year, our small team of dedicated caseworkers has supported hundreds of individuals and families facing complex and often urgent situations, from benefits delays and debt to immigration worries and homelessness.
Thank you to our amazing caseworkers, Chayara, Amina and Kazi, for all their diligent work.

EmpowHER: Supporting Women to Grow & Connect
Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, EmpowHER provides women with safe, welcoming spaces to build confidence, friendships, wellbeing and new skills. Through weekly activities, one-to-one support and links with local services, the project helps women overcome isolation, improve their health and explore new opportunities.
Thank you to our amazing project officer, Minara, for creating safe, supportive spaces for women to feel heard and valued.

NHS Talking Therapies: Community Mental Health & Wellbeing
Funded by Vita Health Group, this five-year project (launched in 2021) helps adults aged 16+ across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland access NHS Talking Therapies for depression, anxiety and stress.
Our Project Officers provide outreach, one-to-one support, wellbeing activities and information sessions in trusted community spaces, helping people understand what therapy involves and supporting them through self-referral and engagement.
Many of the people we meet face language barriers, isolation, stigma around mental health or simply don’t know that NHS Talking Therapies is an option. Our role is to bridge that gap.
Thank you to our amazing project officers, Mehraj, Chayara and Zee, for offering a lifeline to so many.
