Loughborough Mela is Back - Join Us on Sunday 9th August
29th Jul 2026
There's not long to go until Loughborough Mela 2026, and we're looking forward to welcoming everyone to another fantastic day celebrating the cultures, communities and diversity that make Loughborough so special.
Organised by Equality Action, the Mela has become one of the town's biggest annual community events, bringing together local residents, community groups, performers, businesses and organisations for a day filled with music, dance, food and celebration.
Whether you've attended every year or are planning your first visit, we hope you'll join us in Loughborough Market Place on Sunday 9th August.
What to Expect
Community stalls will be open from 10:00 am, giving visitors the opportunity to meet local organisations, charities and businesses, browse a variety of stalls and enjoy food from around the world before the entertainment begins.
